I read this book last week called
"Bossypants" by Tina Fey
Ok... it is so funny!
I found myself constantly laughing
out loud, resulting in many curious looks
from my 5 year old.
Nixon: "Mom, what are you laughing at?"
my response: "This book, it is silly and making my laugh."
Nixon: "But Mom, I don't hear you saying anything."
It was funny to me that how innocent
his little mind is.
There is no way you can read unless
you say the words out loud.
Ms. Fey shared many hilarious stories from her youth.
She somehow made everyday mundane activities
seem so out of the ordinary.
I think that clipping fingernails is so
much more interesting because of her,
and I will never think of it the same way again.
She also reminds me, as a working mother,
so find the little joys in the time
i do get to spend with my little ones.
Overall, pretty humorous quick read.
(I think I read it in about 3 days)
